As I said above, "shameful" and acting like a small child. Confirms that the Bush administration does not supply leadership on a major issue of the day. Embarassing.

the word "bali" has one meaning already, as a symbol of a culture ruined by white people, or if one wishes to be charitable, tourism.

recycling in europe and america has taken, what, thirty years to become marginally established, from concept to reality...

thirty years is how long it takes a generation to die off, and to me that is the only hope the world, certainly america, has on this issue, a generation or more has to die off, a mind-set has to disappear, things have to fall apart before people will change, you need watery eyes and breathing problems before unleaded gasoline will be put to use...

our culture educates people to be consumers, and consumers need producers, which takes energy...

my point, sorry to take so long, is that we NEED the world to fall apart quite a bit more, so that change will actually happen...

when you can look in a home depot store and realize that everything there is on the way to a landfill, rather than as something that will improve your life, then change has begun, but we are a long way from that...

gas has to be ten bucks a gallon by thursday, or no chance...

sorry for my mood, this is one of many things going on in the world that really bugs me, and when someone asks me where i am from, i am "proud to be from somewhere else"....

humans are really strange creatures
