		<description>A personal reply.

I read your posts as they appear and am struck by how quickly things are morphing from the present state to something new and mostly better.

I have nearly ten years on you and am aware of the avalanche of information and the deluge of change that is occuring in so many aspects of civilization that requires adaptation and readaption.

I don&#039;t fear change and evolution. I mostly welcome it as it makes many things so much easier than it ever was before. As in when was the last time you went to &quot; The Library&quot;?

But what does frighten me is my abilty to continue to keep up with the changes as my mental agility diminishes due to aging.

I try to follow Satchel Paige&#039;s advice to &quot;Don&#039;t look over your shoulder &#039;cause somethin&#039; might be gainin&#039; on ya&#039;&quot;(loosely quoted) and do the crossword every day as a kind of self-defense exercize.
